CYQ Health Related Exercise for Children (Level 2)
Nationally recognised and meeting OFSTED standards, this qualification takes a multi disciplinary approach to teaching health related exercise to children under 16. It will help enable individuals instructing in this area to build successful programmes that meet today’s challenging health and fitness demands. Format
The course is a mixture of home study and practical workshops, referred to as blended learning. Initially you will be supplied with a course manual and home study support materials covering the exercise and fitness knowledge element of the course. After successfully completing the home study element of the course you will be required to undertake five days of training which will focus on the practical element of the course.
Assessment
The course is assessed via a multiple choice theory paper, practical assessment, and worksheets completed during the course.
