Circuit Training

CYQ Circuit Training (Level 2)

Circuit Training gives you the skills and knowledge to plan and teach safe and effective Circuit Training sessions to low fitness groups, mixed ability groups and advanced groups. It provides an alternative to step and aerobics classes. The qualification is open as a progression route to learners who have completed the Gym Instructors or Exercise to Music qualification.

Format

The course lasts for three days and consists of a mix of theory sessions, practical workshops and formatively assessed teaching workshops.

Assessment

The course is assessed via a practical assessment, and worksheets completed during the course.
